no 8bit (utf-8) character set found in MixW

We are trying to send/receive wrapped messages using MixW ver 3.1.1
the problem with MixW is the lack of 8bit (utf-8) character set.
FLDIGI & DM-780 both utilize 8bit and I unchecked 8bit in FLDIGI and got
the same results as mixw, soooooI think that appears be the problem.
