Using MixW in Ukrainian DX contest 2001

Download necessary files.

Ukrainian oblast list: udxc.dom

Copy udxc.dom in MixW directory.

Statistics DLL file: StatsUDXC1.zip  

Copy StatsUDXC.dll in Plugins subdirectory of MixW directory.

Set up the contest mode.

Go to View - Contest Mode menu. In List of Contests dialog, click Add New button.

Fill the form as follows:

Name: Ukrainian DX contest
Start: 03.11.2001 12:00:00
End: 04.11.2001 11:59:59

Your call:  enter your callsign here
NR Sent:  oblast for Ukrainian , 1 and AutoInc for foreign stations

AutoGrab: 
    Number, Serial
    Domain

Suggest:
    Domain

Domains listed in
   Click the [...] button and select udxc.dom file in MixW directory.

Statistics:
   Click the [...] button and select Ukrainian DX Contest from the list.

Dupe checking:
       nothing

Macros:
    Click the [...] button and select a file with keyboard macros to use in this contest, or leave this field void if you don't use one.

Then click OK to close this dialog.

Make this contest active and close List of Contests dialog.

To view on-the-fly statistics, click View - Statistics - Show contest statistics menu. This will open the Statistics dialog:

Use Quick search (View - Quick search - Show dialog menu) to quick searching for previous contacts. For example, entering "Z" into the CALL field (using last letters option), you will get the following result (red ticks indicate dupes):

Producing the contest log.

Click File - Search in logfile menu. Uncheck all check-boxes, except Contest. Choose Ukrainian DX contest 2001 from the list. Click Display.

In Search results dialog, review the log, make necessary changes, then select QSOs you want to write (right-click brings the Select menu). Click to Cabrillo button.

Answer "Yes" when it asks "Do you want to generate logfile in Ukrainian DX Contest format instead of Cabrillo format?".

Fill the dialog and click OK. Look for the produced log files in MixW directory.
